Leathers (includes plusONE ™)

You get only quality leathers with Finao. We carefully select each leather for our collections, not just for quality but for how and where they are made. For example, we will not use hides that have been tanned in Asia where working conditions are generally too poor.

Does it have to be the very best? Then this is where plusONE comes in. Materials like nothing else we offer, but they do come with an additional price. Trust us, you won't find materials like these anywhere else. plusONE materials are included with the leather swatch kit.

SPECIAL NOTE: Glitteratzi & Patina from the Zumanity collection are only available as half hides. This means some of our album sizes over 12 inches may not be available (especially as full covers). Please contact us for an evaluation if you are interested in either of these options.

Non-Leathers

Have an animal friendly or eco-conscious client? Finao has you covered. Almost all of our non-leathers are 100% vegan. Some folks even swear they look and feel just like leather. They are all PVC free, eco-friendly options as well. If you have a true vegan, however, steer clear of Brocades and the Midtown collection. Those collections contain silks which is a big "no-no" for the vegan hearted.

Do you have hi-res swatches available for download?

YES, we do! Hi-res downloadable swatch PDFs are available to all registered Finao users. You can find them when you log in to your account in the assets section.

Can't I just use the online swatches?

There are always swatches available to view online, however, colors can vary greatly from monitor to monitor and will never be truly exact. It is also nearly impossible to see the true character of some of the finely crafted, hand-tooled leathers on screen.

Swatch kits are available for purchase.

Can I imprint?

YES, on select leathers & materials only. As a general rule, any material or leather that has a heavy texture (like the Accents or Middle Earth collections) or has a heavy nap or suede (like the Urban Legends or Garbo collections) can not be imprinted upon.

If you absolutely, positively MUST have imprinting, stick to the collections that have a smoother surface, like All That Jazz, the Basics, Tricycle Alley and Happy Cow or see our imprinting section for more information.
